Fear is like the blackness of a dark alley,
Heart throbbing, palms sweating, legs shaking,
As you venture deeper and deeper into the darkness.
It sounds like the blood-curdling scream
of a possessed child,
not getting what it wants.
It tastes like the bitterness of sour milk,
Making you want to gag,
Trying to run away from the retched smell it brings.
It smells like a trashcan, sitting full of rotting garbage, gradually decomposing,
And filled with flies laying their eggs.
Fear feels like a festering wound,
Slowly filling with infection and eating you away,
Until you are gone forever.
very vivid. good job.
